The Oklahoma Child Care Resource & Referral Association supports and works with eight regional resource and referral (R & R) agencies across the state that provide referrals, assistance, training, consulting and resources to Oklahoma child care providers.

The following subjects must be acquired and documented within six months after applying for a license:

• Disease and Injury Prevention Measures
• Health and Safety Issues:
  • Shaken Baby Syndrome
  • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
  • Car Seat Safety
  • Safeguarding the Home
  • Immunizations
• Use of a Fire Extinguisher
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), including Infant and Child First Aid
