Finding the right child care situation is one of the most important decisions that you face, especially during the early years. How do you find care providers in your area? And once you know who and where they are, how do you decide which one is best for your child? We can help.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
Our services to parents are FREE, whether in person, over the telephone or online.
When you call us, you can expect a 10- to 15-minute interview with one of our child care specialists. We will ask you questions to determine what you need. Then we will tell you about the different types of child care available and help you evaluate the options.
When you tell us about your family and your child care needs, it will help us tailor information for you and save you time. Anything you tell us is confidential.
We will give you general information about child care and a list of options in your area that may meet your needs. Although the list we give you will specifically fit your criteria, we DO NOT recommend one provider over another. The choice is always yours.
We provide lots of information to make your search easier and more successful. We can also help you understand what to expect from child care providers and how to talk with them about issues or questions you may have. If you believe you may be eligible to receive financial assistance for child care, we can help you.
WHO WE ARE
The Oklahoma Child Care Resource & Referral Association supports and works with eight regional resource and referral agencies (R & R agencies) across the state that help parents find the right child care in their local communities.
